Safar Maina
The social objectives of Nirman are deeply intertwined with the underprivileged & downtrodden classes of society. As a result, Safarmaina A theatre group was established in 1990 to work with the handicapped and the underprivileged children of the slum areas. The students of earlier batches of Safarmaina are now established artists and living in Mumbai, New Delhi & other states of India as a Cine- Tele Artist or Theatre Director. Its first Theatre workshop has organized in 1990 in an illegal area of Patna named “Nand Nagar Colony” and the participants are now living a fine life. Some has established new organizations, some was gone to NSD & other Drama Schools and many are spending a excellent living in Mumbai & Delhi with name & fame.
We’ve organized a 45 Day’s Residential Handicapped Theatre Workshop in 1999-2000 & Many renowned Artists like:- Robin Shaw Pushpa, Alok Dhanwa, Vidyanand Sahay, Vishwajeet Sen, Parshuram Shastri, Avdesh Preet, Rekey Master Chandrakant Patli, Dance Anshu Dubey, Dr. Jitendra Sahay, Painter Shyam Sharma etc. has spend their time with disabled children.
Safarmaina has produced many plays like:- Bakri, Chaar Kissein Chaupal ke, Chamatkari Juta, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Bargad- Bargad Kutta, Koshish, Ravi ke rang, Andhon ka Hathi, Bal Shram se Chutti, Dhanpat ke kissein, Din Phire Kachre ke, Mukadme ka Mukhauta, Daddy Badal Gaye Hai, Pata Nahin, Andher Nagri, Ghera, Raavan, Kanua Naai, Roshni, Raja Ka Baaja, Sadachaar ka taawiz, Charandas Chor, Hamari Budhia, Chief ki Daawat, Baje Dhindhora, Beti Bechwa, Gandhi Chowk, Ye Bachcha kiska bachcha hai, bal shram se mukti, Gopi gawaiya bagha bajaiya etc.
